NP #4 “Follow The Leader”
I saw these gerenuks at Mountain View Conservation and Breeding Centre in Fort Langley, British Columbia. Their name literally means “giraffe-necked”, because of their long necks. They will often stand on their hind legs to eat leaves from medium sized trees. Only the male has horns. |
